Moses told his father-in-law all that the LORD had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians on Israel’s behalf, all the hardships that they had encountered along the way, and how the LORD had delivered them. Jethro was the father in law to Moses and he was a midianites' Priest. He did something worthy of emulation when he paid his son in law, Moses, a visit in the wilderness. Jethro didn't witness the ten mighty wonders God performed in Egypt before the Israelites could be allowed to leave their land of slavery. Jethro was not there when God parted the red sea for the Israelites to pass through. All Jethro heard was testimony of God's great deliverance and goodness. Yet, hear his response to these testimonies - _Now I know that the LORD is greater than all other gods, because of what happened to the Egyptians when they acted arrogantly against Israel.”_ Exodus 18:11.
