VALIANT WARRIOR

Text : Judges 6:12.

The angel of the LORD appeared to him and told him, “The LORD is with you, you valiant warrior!”

God called Gideon a valiant warrior because that is who he was destined to be, but he didn't see himself in that light at all.

Like Gideon, many of us are fed up with the evil that surround us, yet it hasn't occurred to us that the miracle we have been praying for already lies within us.

You can always tell the size of a man's greatness by the size of problem that comes his way. But a man's victory is not determined by his size but by his understanding of his true identity.

David was able to kill Goliath not because he was bigger than Goliath in size, but he was way bigger than Goliath in heart, and because he had a true understanding of who he was.

David told the Philistine, “You come at me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of the Heavenly Armies, the God of the armies of Israel whom you have defied.1 Samuel 17:45.

David knew he carried with him the Lord of the  the heavenly armies, and he did wonders because of this understanding. This is the same consciousness that God opened the eyes of Gideon to, and this is same consciousness that God wants to open you up to.

When God was seeing a valiant warrior in Gideon, he was busy using his family background to judge and limit himself.
The LORD looked straight at Gideon and told him, “Go and deliver Israel from Midian’s domination. I’ve directed you, haven’t I?”Judges
6:14.

Gideon responded. “Sir, how will I deliver Israel? Look—my family is the weakest in Manasseh, and I’m the youngest in my father’s household.” Judges 6:15.

A number of times, you use your background, family history, past mistakes or failures and physical inadequacies to limit God's operations in your life.

Gideon was referred to as a valiant warrior because God was with him, and when he accepted this truth, he did recorded unimaginable victory for Isreal.

In as much as God is with you, you are a valiant warrior. You will conquer nations and you will do exploits. Go in this might and walk in the dominion that Christ has won for you.

The Lord is saying to you this year, *rise up and fulfill His mandate upon your life, because the Lord is with you, Valiant warrior.*

 Judges 6:1-26.

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

Father, I receive the grace to rise up as a valiant warrior knowing well that you are with me always.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

BEWARE OF DOGS

Text :  Philippians 3:2. Beware of the dogs! Beware of the evil workers! Beware of the mutilators! Usually, when you see the inscription "BEWARE OF DOGS", you instantly know there's a wild or trained dog around the corner, hence, the need to beware.  However, when God says 'Beware of dogs,' He wasn't actually referring to dogs as in 'animals' but to animals in human skin. Note that this caution was given to believers against other so-called  believers.  That is, some people within the church that we refer to as brothers and sisters are actually operating in the capacity of dogs.Though fellow worshippers in the church are called brothers and sisters, but if they behave like wild animals, know that they are dogs in humans skin- BEWARE. Matthew  7:6 says *Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.*  Essentially, dogs don't have capacity to r...
