WORDS

Text : Matthew 12:37.

Because by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Words are very important. The heaven and the earth were created by words - the word of God. Hebrews 11:3 says, Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. The things we can see now were made by words which we cannot see.

Now, you can say this is the word of God, and that is why it is that potent. However, the same word of God says, by your own words you will either be justified or condemned. Matthew 12:37.

Your words are important, and your words are powerful. Proverbs 18:21 says, *Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.* That is, with your words, you can reap either life or death.

With his words, the thief on the right hand of God received everlasting life at the point of death through his words. (Luke 23:40-43).

This goes to say that you can also receive your own miracle and alter your world by your word.

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

Father, I receive the grace to look into what is written concerning me in your word and to live by them.

As a matter of important, salvation process is not complete until you confess with your mouth. Romans 10:10 says, *For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.*  To be saved, you must believe with your heart the Lord Jesus, and you must confess with your mouth your sin and your acceptance of His Lordship.

This is why it is commonly said that your world is shaped by your words.

Let's hear the conclusion of this matter from 1Peter 3:10,  “For the person who wants to love life   and see good days   must keep his tongue from evil   and his lips from speaking deceit.

From today, learn to choose your words very carefully. Say only what you desire to see in your life here on earth and in your life hereafter.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
