DIVINE DIRECTION

Psalms 37:23.

The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.

Everyone needs direction in life, but more importantly, everyone needs divine direction in life.

Have you ever been misled while seeking for direction to a place before? It can be very frustrating. But what is more frustrating is to lack God's direction in life.

Jeremiah 10:23 says, _O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps_ Yes, man lacks the capacity to correctly direct his own steps in life. Man lacks the ability to correctly control his own life.

Only the Lord can order the steps of man in the right path and in the path of destiny. However, God will not order everyone's steps, He will only order the steps of those who surrender to Him.

Eliezer, Abraham's servant who was saddled with the responsibility of looking for a wife for Issac, (Abraham's son,)  committed his ways to the Lord and God ordered his steps aright.

Eliezer prayed thus- May it be that the young woman to whom I ask, ‘Please, lower your jug so that I may drink,’ responds, ‘Have a drink, and I’ll water your camels as well.’ May she be the one whom you have chosen for your servant Isaac. This is how I’ll know that you have shown your gracious love to my master.” Genesis 24:14. Before he had finished speaking, Rebekah appeared.

In response to his heartfelt prayer, the steps of Rebecca was divinely directed and led into destiny.

How come it was Rebecca who came out immediately after the man's prayer? How was the timing so perfect like that? Well, it can only be through divine direction.

God ordered the steps of Rebecca to the well that fateful day, but ultimately God was ordering her steps into the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To fulfill destiny, your steps must be divinely directed everyday.

Psalms 37:5 says, *Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.* Trust the Lord to divinely direct your steps this year and forever.

 Genesis 24:1-28.

Father, I commit my ways to you that you might grant me divine direction in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
