TEACH THEM, LORD!- 2

Text:Isaiah 54:13.

I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace.

It is important for every parent to know that it is only with the help of the Lord that they can raise  goodly and godly children. Hence, if  parents do not know the Lord, such  parents cannot do justice to Godly parenting.

*No matter how educated or disciplined ungodly parents may be, they cannot raise godly children, because you can't give what you don't have.*

It is clear that it will only take God's intervention for a child under ungodly parents to be raised as a godly child. Although, God's major institution for raising goodly and godly children is the home, but in a situation where the home has failed, God will be counting on the church and the Christian school to bridge the gap.

The church is God's major interception for raising goodly and Godly children. Church leaders must know this fact. This is the reason  children and youth ministry must not be taking for granted in the church.

One of the major duties of the  church therefore, is to  provide godly parenting for ALL, and this includes the children, teenagers and youth.

Another institution the Lord uses for raising goodly and Godly children is the school.
That is the reason for which  God is instructing His own children to establish schools. *The purpose of Christian schools should  not just be about profit making but for  raising godly children.*

You can now see the reason for establishing missionary schools. This has always and will continue to be a major platform for raising Godly children in every generation, especially with regards to failure in the home.

May the Lord help Christian school owners to know this well. A Christian school owner must know that Christian school should run as God's palliative and intervention for home failure and not just for profit making.

The Lord is counting on you as a parent, church leader and Christian school leader to provide a platform for the Lord to teach our children. Please don't fail Him.

 *Bible Reading:*

Psalms 127:1-5.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
