TEXT : 2 Corinthians. 4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair. The word "thlibo" from which trouble is coined could actually means to press (as grapes) or press hard upon. So, Apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthian church that they (he and his followers) were pressed on every side but not distressed. It is possible you are also being pressed hard on every side at this point in your life, but one thing you must know is that the Lord is using the pressing to release sweet juice to people around you. Whenever God *allows* situations (trouble) to press you on every side, it is because He wants to use it to produce patience (perseverance) in you, and this patience will birth an experience(character).
