SHORT CUT

Text : Genesis 16:2.

So Sarai told Abram, “You are well aware that the LORD has prevented me from giving birth to a child. Go have sex with my servant, so that I may possibly bear a son through her.” Abram listened to Sarai’s suggestion,

*There's no short cuts in God, when you try to  play shortcut with Him, you end up cutting yourself short.*

The tendency to cut corners and play smart is inherent in man. By nature, man is not patient.  And this is one of the anomalies that man inherited by reason of the fall, which God is set to correct in us through Jesus Christ.

In chapter fifteen of Genesis, God made a covenant with Abram that his descendants will be as numerous as the stars in the sky and he believed God.

However, by the next chapter, he, with a suggestion from his wife had decided to play a smart game on God and follow a short cut.

Deep down in your heart, you believe that God's plan for you is good and great. But the pressure of life is pulling you to cut corners with God.

Well, *know for certain that God will never fail, His promises are Yes and Amen, but, you must learn to wait for His timing.*

Inability to wait for God's timing made Abram and Sarai followed a shortcut and we are still battling with the aftermath consequences till date.

Do not listen to the voice of pressure to follow a short cut in God, because there's no short cut in God.
