HIS VOICE- 2

Text : John 10:3.

To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out.

We established yesterday that one thing you can't joke with as a true follower of Christ is *His Voice.* You must recognise and hearken (obey) His voice. It is in doing this that your safety is assured.

Today, we want to see another responsibility of the Shepherd over His sheep.

To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, *and leads them out.* John 10:3.

 He called you, that He might lead you. It is not enough for you to hear or recognise His Voice, you must allow Him to lead you as well.

Romans 8:14 says *For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.*

The Spirit leading you determines the family you belong to. Basically,  there are only two families in this world - the family of God, and the family of satan. In other words, we can say the Kingdom of Christ or the power of darkness.

 ```...Who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:``` (Colossians  1:13).
So, for us that belong to the Kingdom of Christ,  we must allow His Spirit to lead us. Psalms 23 says The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: *he leads me beside the still waters.*  The Shepherd leads while you are to follow. Note that He will always lead you beside the still waters. While He is leading you, you must learn to trust His judgements.  The road may be rough but the destination is absolutely worth it.
The verse three of psalms 23 says *he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake*  .
The good shepherd desires to lead you in the ways of righteousness. This is the only way that guarantees you  access into the kingdom of God.
He can only lead those who are willing to follow.  The good shepherd will never force His will on you. Do not refuse leadings this year. Wherever He leads, be humble and wise enough to follow.
Anyone who follows the good Shepherd's leading shall never be confounded.
