PRAISE HIM

TEXT. Psalms  150:6

Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

It is easier for man to praise God when things are good, but praising God should only be conditioned upon one thing - " *BREATH* "

Do you have breath? If yes, then you must Praise Him at all times.

Praising God is not primarily because He has given you

something, but because He has created and given you BREATH. _For His exceeding greatness and mighty works.Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being (Psalm 148:5).

The angels, on a continual basis *PRAISE God* because they behold His Glory,   His Mighty acts and excellent greatness;

The Sun, moon and twinkling stars in the  heavens *PRAISE Him;*

The skies and vapors high above the clouds. PRAISE Him;

The creatures of the ocean depths *PRAISE Him;

The fire, hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather *PRAISE Him;*

The mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars *PRAISE Him;*

The wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds *PRAISE Him;*

 _(Psalm 148:1-14, NLT)_

 *If creations and creatures of God which are not made in His image and after His likeness are Praising Him, why won't you the very image of God PRAISE HIM?* What is your excuse? What has He not done for you? If you have breath within you, then you have every reason to sing His Praise all the days of your life.

God has commanded that kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth,young men and young women, old men and children  PRAISE HIM.* Psalm 148:11-13.

Bible Reading: Psalm 148:1-14.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...
