TEXT: Luke 1:37

For with God nothing shall be impossible.

This statement was made by angel Gabriel that brought good news of glad tidings to Zechariah in the temple and to Mary in her house.

The Lord made the impossible possible within six months for Elisabeth and Mary. They were both cousins, and the LORD has decided to visit them within a space of six months in order to show His awesome power to do anything he wishes to do.

The Lord visited  Zechariah and promised him and Elizabeth of having a child even in their old age. He also visited young virgin Mary, and promised her that the Holy Ghost will come upon her and she would be carrying the Saviour of the whole world.

These angelic visitations to Zechariah and Mary signify that all things are possible with God. He is indeed the God of all possibilities

While Zechariah had difficulty in embracing and believing the impossible and unusual message brought by angel Gabriel, Mary simply believed and said, *"...Be it unto me according to your word..."* *(Luke 1:38).*

In the same vein, you must be willing to accept the seemingly impossible promises of God for your life. There are situations in your life, that might appear like Mount Everest which seemed immovable, but with God, you must believe that all things are possible. Every mountain moves at the sound of God's voice.

"Yes I believe!" You may say. But beyond mere mental assent to what God is capable of doing, He really wants you to believe and accept his mighty working power in your own situation at this very point in time.

If you truly believe that nothing is impossible for God to do, then you must turn your own situation to Him at this point in time. You must wait on him and know that he will show up.

 *BIBLE READING:*

Luke 1: 28-38.

 *PRAYER FOCUS:*

Father God, I confess all my sins of unbelief. Now Lord, I receive grace to simply believe your words and promises in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
