LEAVE THE GARMENT

His Voice Devotional Text: Gen. 39:12   ...she caught him by his garment, saying, "Lie with me." But he left his garment in her hand, and fled and ran outside.*  Genesis chapter 39 mentioned Joseph's 'garment' five (5) times. In the same frequency, Genesis chapter 37 mentioned Joseph's 'coat' five(5) times. There must be something peculiar about Joseph's coat and his garment that the scripture had to mention them five (5) times each. Joseph was stripped off of his coat of many colours and his garment. The door is locked for the night, and my family and I are all in bed. I can't help you. But I tell you this—though he won't do it for friendship's sake, *if y...
