LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH"

TEXT: John 3:16

For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten unique Son, so that whoever believes in trusts in, clings to, relies on Him shall not perish come to destruction, be lost but have eternal everlasting life.

Today, all over the world, valentine is being celebrated as a symbol of love.

While there are different stories surrounding this celebration, the bottom line of the celebration is LOVE!
While Valentine's Day is about love, its celebration today is not so much about God's kind of love.

All sorts of artrocities and  immoralities are being committed in some quarters in the name of Love.

If the scripture says God is love (1John 4:8), then today should actually be a celebration of God's love for humanity.

The problem however is that many are yet to understand what God's love is. I have often heard believers saying, "Love is not enough in relationship". If the kind of love you know is Agape, what more addition does Agape need then?

This means that if God is love, what more would you need to add to God to make Him enough. Nothing! I believe.

As you celebrate or see people celebrate Valentine's Day today, allow the love of God to envelope you.

Think about the offering and the sacrifice of His only begotten Son for your sake. This may then bring a
reorientation about God's love into your life

Love is everything!
Love is beautiful!
Love is fulfilling!
Love is sweet!
Love is beautiful!
Love is Enough!

*If the source of your Love is God, then you've got more than enough!*

*Every other love that is being proffessed in our world today shall gradually fade away. It's only God and His love that shall endure forever.*

Today may be a very good opportunity for you to receive and show God's love to someone.

Do not miss this moment. Go out there and manifest Agape to the dying and hurting world.

*God still loves this world....and the giving of his only begotten Son is still for this corruptible world.*

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

Lord, help me to grow and receive your love and to give the same to the people around me in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
