HELP OTHERS

Text : Luke 22:32

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

ONE good proof of genuine conversion is desire to witness. You can't just keep calm, but beyond this euphoria or emotions is the fact that it is a command.

Every one who has been saved is saddled with the responsibility of helping others to be saved.

_And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;_ (2 Corinthians  5:18). *God reconciled us to Himself and gave us the ministry of reconciling others. Don't let the chain stop with you, pass it on to others.*

*You will soon become a stagnant water if all of God's blessings in you are bottled within you, you are meant to be a channel of blessing. You are blessed to be a blessing.*

God allowed you to pass through what you went through, and He kept you alive so you could be a worthy vessel in using your experience to rescue others.
Mind you, there are those who went through smaller experience compared to yours and they were completely overwhelmed. But you are alive today because He kept you. The least you could do to appreciate Him is to use your testimony to strengthen others.

God is a master in bringing out a message from your mess. Don't hide His glory by keeping to yourself. From the comfort you have received, comfort others, and you too will receive more.

*God comforts us in all our suffering, so that we may be able to comfort others in all their suffering, as we ourselves are being comforted by God.*

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

DECEITFULNESS OF SIN 2

TEXT. Hebrews 3:13  *But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin* .  *While deceit is a sin, Sin itself is deceitful.* Sin has the capacity to lure a man to do stuffs. *One of the major vices of the devil is to make sin appear attractive and unharmfult.* If Eve could see what the consequences of eating the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil would be, she would have resisted the deception of the man of sin. She was simply deceived.Gen, 3:6 While it is no news that all sinners are already condemned to deceitfulness of sin, it is sad to know that many children of God (like Adam and Eve), are being easily deceived by Sin. See the case of Ananias and Sapphira, Acts 5:1-13. Many Christians today are still playing the same game of smartness this couple played. I call it smartness because that was what they thought they were doing. While they thought they were smart, Peter knew that Satan h...
