YOU ARE NOT FORGOTTEN

Text : Isaiah  49:15

Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.

Sometimes it feels like God is not hearing your cries and prayers, but one thing you must know for certain is that, His promises never fail- He will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrew 13:5.

While very few mothers have shown great wickedness by forsaking and forgetting their sucking babies, though, on a norm, mothers don't forget their sucking babies. Whichever way, God will never forget His own. His word made us know that even a mother may forget her sucking child, but He will never forget His own children. Are you God's child? Then, He will never forget you.

*God is a Spirit, hence you can not ascertain His presence by your feelings or circumstances, but only by your SPIRIT and by FAITH.*

Though, God is always working in the lives of His children, they need the eyes of Faith and openness of Heart in order to see and discern Him at work. (2King 6:15-18). Even though you can not see God, He's working still. He never stops working.

You must know that God will neither forget nor forsake you. Joseph went through difficult times that would have made most men give up on God and sleep with Potiphar's wife. Instead of getting angry with God and walking out of His will, He feared and loved Him the more even as a slave in the land of Egypt. (Gen. 39:9).

In every odd situation, you just need to realise that God will never forget nor forsake you. One of the devices of the devil is to make you think that God has forgotten you. This thought is actually a thought to further take you away from God.

*God always have you right in the Hollow of His palms. He will never forget you!*

Bible Reading: Romans 8:28-39.

PRAYER FOCUS

1.) Father God, I thank you for being with me always. Thank you for loving me inspite of myself.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
