AFTER GOD, IT'S GOD!

Text: 1 Samuel  2:2.

There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

There is none holy as the Lord, there is none besides Him and there is no rock like our God. Hence, after God what you have is still God. No man on earth, angel in heaven or devil in hell is comparable to our God. God is the only personality that is incomparable.

All of His creatures and creations have mates and equals except for Him alone. He is God all by Himself.

Even the satan that is disturbing and disrupting the whole earth now has many of his equals in heaven. That is the reason the book of Revelation 20:1& 2 says, _I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years._

*If It will take only one angel to arrest and detain the devil for a thousand years, don't you think it's high time you stopped taking satan as the opposite of God. Devil is not God's equal, he is God's handiwork.*

Today, many folks in the church give too much attention to the devil than they give to God. Stop giving the devil undue attention in your life. *Let God become your preoccupation and business, then you will simply become a commander over satan.*

God is God, God is not a man. The things that are impossible with men, are possibilities within the sphere of God. The bigness and awesomeness of God cannot be captured by your tiny brain and mind. He is big and massive than all, and so must you receive Him in your heart. (Luke 1:37, 18:27).

Do not allow your situations or circumstances limit God in your life. He is God of all possibilities and wonders. He will do great wonders in your life, if only you can rediscover His greatness in your heart once again.

Bible Reading:Ezekiel 37:1-10.

Prayer Focus

1.) Father God,  I receive a new and believing heart that will always see your greatness and awesomeness even in the midst of my adversities.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
