ANOTHER JESUS

Text :   2 Corinthians  11:4.

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

 *There is no salvation by anyone else, for there is no other name under heaven given among people by which we must be saved, except the name of Jesus. ”* Act 4:12.

Philippians  2:10 says That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth.

It's so clear that salvation for mankind is gotten only in Jesus Christ. And this is only gotten through the preaching of Jesus Christ. 

However, some folks have taken it upon themselves to preach another Jesus. Note that any message that is centered on self and worldly acquisition in the name of the gospel is another Jesus.

Anyone that points men to himself rather than points men to Jesus is another Jesus. 

Anyone that takes or receives glory meant for God to himself is another Jesus and should be avoided. 

Apart from individuals that proclaim themselves as saviour,(which obviously are not) there are others within the church who come in the name of the Lord but whose aim is to lead people away from  Jesus and His teachings. These are thieves and robbers, from such turn away.

PRAYER FOCUS

1.) Father God, I receive the wisdom to know those who present another Jesus within the body and to run from them.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life.
