BELIEVE 2


 Text:  Mark 11:23 *For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.* 


It was established yesterday that you must speak forth whatever you believe, and that you must be specific about what you want the Lord to do in any given situation. 


 *No Doubt*: Jesus said that if you speak to this mountain, be removed and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in your heart, but shall believe that those things which you said shall come to pass; you shall have whatsoever you said.


Doubt is the major reason many could not receive from the Lord. The moment you doubt your prayer/confession, you stand the chance of loosing your ground.  Doubt gives rise to double minded ness. Whenever you doubt, your heart divides into two. And God cannot receive any network from a divided heart. 


Just as a man who tries to look up into heaven and down at the same time will loose focus, and eventually gain nothing, so also is a double minded person. 


James 1:6-8  says "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.  *A double minded man is unstable in all his ways".* James 1:6-8.


It is clear that a doubtful man cannot receive anything from the Lord. You can imagine the number of times, you have prayed in vain because of doubt. God's word labelled a double minded man as one who is unstable in all his ways. This simply means that such a person will not come into any form of establishment. 


Doubt is a grievous sin and a cancerous disease. *To doubt God and His word is like doubting His existence.* It must be avoided like plague if you are going to see God work mightily on your behalf.


 *DOUBT ALWAYS PUT YOU IN A DISADVANTAGED POSITION, SO GET RID OF IT!*

1. Father, help me find grace to always trust and never doubt you and your words in Jesus name.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively.
