REAL HELP 2

 *Text*: Isaiah 50:7


 *For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.*


From our text, the following truths can be deduced :


1. It is clear that the reason you will not be confounded   ( disgraced ) is because the Lord God will help you. That is,  whoever is not helped by the Lord will be disgraced. *It is only the Lord's help that can shield a man from disgrace.* 


2. *For you to receive God's help, you must recognise Him as your only help.* 


God is not one of the options, He's the only option. Your face must be set like a flint on Him alone. 


3. Shame will be far from you. You have to come to a point where you are fully convinced that God can never disappoint you. 


Psalms  37:25  says I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. *He is our very present help in trouble, Psaims 46:1.* 

Those who put their trust in the Lord shall never be put to shame.  All of our help comes from the Lord.

1. Father Lord, help me to continually fix my gaze on you for help.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life.
