GREAT GRACE

Text : Acts 4:33

*And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.*

*If the Bible talks about great Grace upon the Apostles, it also connotes that grace can be in small measure. May the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be multiplied upon your life in abundance. Amen*

*GRACE is more than a favour or enablement to do something or achieve a feat. It is not limited to the oil that lubricates your wheel. Grace is simply Jesus personified.*

*Grace is that which releases and transmits things that pertains to Christ upon a man's life.* Grace is actually the person of Christ at work in a man's life.

_For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace._ John 1:16

Though, every born again(child of God) is saved by Grace at the point of salvation, but that is not all there is about Grace; Grace initiated your birth by Faith, it is also grace that will see you through your Christian journey on this side of eternity. Eph.2:8-9.

Today we shall be considering the workings and operations of Grace upon a man's life.

Since the scripture recorded that Great grace was upon the Apostles; we shall be using them as our template and case study.

Grace upon your life will operates thus:

*1. GRACE Stirs you to give witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power.*

*God's grace upon your life will energize you to witness unto the resurrection of the Lord Jesus with great power. Grace will help you tell your world: He is ALIVE!*

Acts 1:8, 5:20.

*2. GRACE strengthens you in time of persecutions and tribulations:* . The Apostles stood firm in times of tribulation. Paul and Silas were singing praises when an average man would be asking :"God, where is you face?"

_And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks. And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them_ .(Acts 16:23~25)

*Grace will help you to endure hard times and difficult situations without breaking till the day dawn of a new day* .

*3. Grace brings salvation :* _Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,_

_Ephesians 2:8,: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:_

*4. Grace Justifies:* _Titus 3:7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life_ .

 *5. Grace Teaches:*

Titus 2:11&12 _For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, *Teaching* us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;_

*Grace that is not teaching you to repent and turn away from ungodliness and unrighteousness is not a grace from God, check it well.* *God's Grace saves, justifies, teaches, builds, raises and empowers.*

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

HIS VOICE- 2

Text : John 10:3. To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. We established yesterday that one thing you can't joke with as a true follower of Christ is *His Voice.* You must recognise and hearken to (obey) His voice. It is in doing this that your safety is assured.  Today, we want to see another responsibility of the Shepherd over His sheep.  To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, *and leads them out.* John 10:3.  He called you, that He might lead you. It is not enough for you to hear or recognise His Voice, you must allow Him to lead you as well.  Romans 8:14 says *For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.*   The Spirit leading you determines the family you belong to. Basically,  there are only two families in this world - the family of God, and the family of satan. In other words, we can say the Kingdom...
