THE ONLY WAY

Text : John 14:6 ISV 

 *Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.* 

Many people and religious Sects do not have problem with God the father as it were, the problem has always been with them accepting the person of Jesus Christ. 

In fact, today, it seems politically incorrect to say that Jesus Christ is the only way to the Father. So what do you tell others who don’t’ believe this?

The early church was often called people of, “ *the way* ," Acts 9:2. Meaning, it was the way that Jesus taught, who Himself said He was the way, the truth, and the life. Obviously, Jesus meant that it is only through faith in Him that we have access to the Father in heaven. 

The world is what it is today because majority of people do not know *the way* Instead of seeking *the way,* they improvised other means for themselves. You hear students saying stuffs like, " he who knows the way will top his class." People in the market place, ask themselves about *the way* to success...

However, all these perverted ways only lead to more miseries and woes without any lasting Joy. But Jesus categorically declared that *"I AM THE WAY."* 

He didn't say he is a way or he is one of the ways. But He said I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE... A good question to ask here is, Jesus is the way to what? 

Well, He (Jesus) supplied the answer, He said, "...no one comes to the Father but through me" John 14:6. It is Important to know therefore, that Jesus is the way to the Father(the very source of life). And this presupposes that He is the way to the solution of all of man's problems. 

He is the way out of the predicament you are in now. Becauae Jesus is the only way to the Father, then, if you follow the way, you will gain access to the One who controls all things.*God is the creator of the universe and He rules over the affairs of men* . 2 Chronicles 20:6.  

For my fellow believers already in the church, It is very possible for you to have gotten so used to the name and person of "Jesus" that you no longer rely on His affirmation as the Way anymore. Hence, you are seeking another way to help yourself. I want to encourage you to find grace at this hour as you open your heart to approach and access the way(JESUS) one more time. 

He will surely come true for you. 

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

1. Repent of every alternative ways you have carved for yourself and ask God to forgive you. 

2. Ask God to give you grace to locate the way again and stay in Him.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell?
