THE GOOD TIDINGS (2)

Text : Luke 2:10.

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

If the angel said that they brought good tidings of GREAT JOY to all people; then it's better you believe it. Jesus" birth is a good tidings of GREAT Joy indeed.

This is the time for you to rediscover the essence of Jesus Christ. Are you truly experiencing this glad tidings of GREAT JOY in your life? Is it experiential and tangible to you just as it was to the angels?

I have been praying one prayer point since the Lord opened my eyes to this verse: Lord, please help me see and fully realise same joy(and much more) that the host of heaven experienced at the birth of CHRIST. *The rejoicing of the angels was actually for man*

Suddenly, the angel was joined by a vast host of others—the armies of heaven—praising God and saying,“Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.” Luke 2:13-14

May the Lord cause you to see the tangibility of the JOY in Christ. *Christ is simply the very greatest gift to humanity.* So do not allow anything bring a superfluous joy to you outside of Christ. Ask the Lord (if you have given your life to Him), to restore the JOY of His Salvation in your life.

If you are yet to commit yourself to the Lord in a very practical way, *why don't you take a bow, repent, ask for forgiveness and ask Jesus into your heart ( as your Lord and Saviour* ).

*_JESUS IS INDEED THE CENTRE OF YOUR JOY. EMBRACE HIM TODAY AND YOU WILL EXPERIENCE SAME JOY, AND EVEN MUCH MORE THAN THE HOST OF HEAVEN AND THE SHEPHERDS_* .

*_WISHING YOU A JOYOUS CHRISTMAS AND JOY FILLED 2021!!!*

Bible reading: Luke 2:8-20.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
