JESUS CHRIST-OUR GREATEST GIFT

Text : Luke 2:10.

Jesus was like an alabaster box that was found in Israel by birth, His body was broken for the release of the savour of His good ointment and poured forth as ointment.(SOS 1:3).

Jesus is the very Gift of God for every season and time. He is the essence and the reason for the season.

Christmas brings us three realities and reasons why we need to remember and celebrate JESUS always.

1. Jesus is God's greatest Love to mankind.

John 3:16, 1John 3:16

2. Jesus is God's Greatest Gift to mankind.

John 4:10, Rom 5:15-16.

3. Jesus is God's Greatest Price paid on mankind.

Mathew 27:45-46.

Text: 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written, ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and, ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation. Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says, "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._ Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity.
