STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO LIES

Text :John  8:44  

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it._ 

Devil is a liar and he is the father of lies and all liars. This is the reason  y,ou need to be careful of speaking lies. When you tell lies, you are walking in the corridor of the Father of lies(devil). God's word also tells us that all LIARS will end up in hell fire. "....and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" Rev. 21:8.

Everything about the devil is a lie. When he speaks lies, he speaks his very native language. Everything the devil does is a lie. No single truth can be found in him. 

I will like to define lie as anything that is not in line with the Truth. Anything that is not true is a lie. Just like devil is a lie, Jesus is the truth(John 14:6). Therefore, whatsoever that is not of God is a lie. Whatsoever that cannot be found in Jesus is a lie from the devil.

The sickness in your body is a lie. The darkness around you, no matter how real it might appear, is a lie. The horrible situations around you that appears to be life threatening is a lie. 

Since the Truth is Jesus, you can therefore overcome the liar(devil) and his lies by simply standing in the truth(Jesus).  

The truth (Jesus) is therefore expressed by the word of God. If you believe the word, you will  overcome the liar and his lies. Start paying attention to what the Word says and you will soon realise that the Truth always prevail.  For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.(2 Corinthians  13:8).

The singular reason devil's lies are prospering in your life is because you pay too much attention to them, while you pay less or no attention to the Truth(Jesus and His words). Start paying adequate attention to the Word of God(Jesus Christ, the truth) and you shall be set free from all lies.

And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.(John  8:32)

 *STAND IN THE TRUTH(WORD) AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO RESIST THE LIAR AND HIS LIES*

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."
