PAY ATTENTION

Text : Pro 4:1 ISV 

Listen, children, to your father’s instruction,   and pay attention in order to gain understanding._ 

Your life is the aggregate of what you have paid attention to. 

Being mindful of how well you listen to others will be an important consideration throughout your life. Listening and paying attention to others when they speak is a sign of respect and a skill that will lead to deeper and better relationships.

Much more important than paying attention to others is paying attention to God's instructions.

One of the greatest strategies of the devil is to distract you from paying attention to God's instructions. And the reason is very simple,  he knows instruction is life, and he doesn't want man to gain life. 

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: keep her; for she is thy life.Pro 4:13,  

To take fast hold of instruction, you must first listen to the instruction and then, pay close attention to it. If indeed you realised that INSTRUCTION IS YOUR LIFE,  then you should pay Rapt Attention to it. 

An instruction was given to Joshua as to how to have *GOOD SUCCESS* 

"This set of instructions is not to cease being a part of your conversations. Meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to carry out everything that’s written in it, for then you’ll prosper and have good success."Joshua 1:8 ISV.

Well,   just like Joshua, you have been given an open cheque too. The power to gain life and record resounding success has been given to you, all you need to access it is to pay attention to all the  instructions. That is, you have to meditate on it day and night and be careful to carry out everything written in it. 

The devil doesn't have problem in you going to Church, dancing or doing any other activities for that matter.  What he is really after is for you not to pay attention to God's word,  because once you do,  light will come to you, understanding will flood your heart and you will be free from his manipulations. 

 *CULTIVATE THE CULTURE OF LISTENING AND PAYING ATTENTION TO GOD, AND PAYING ATTENTION TO MAN WILL JUST FLOW NATURALLY. IN THIS,  YOU WILL LEAD A BEAUTIFUL LIFE.*

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life.
