KEEP LONGING

Text : Proverbs 10:24 ISV 

What the wicked fears will come about,   but the longing of the righteous will be granted.

To long is to have desires or expectations. Every body has longing for something. But the word of God says the desire(longing) of the wicked shall perish. Psalms 112:10. But the longing of the righteous shall be granted. Prov. 10:24.

What happens when the righteous has no longing?  It means nothing shall be granted, though an open cheque has been given to him. 

You are young and useful if you are still planning for another day. Don't ever give in to the lies of the devil. Don't ever give up on yourself, because God is not giving up on you. He said, there is surely a future life,  and what you hope for will not be cut off.Pro 23:18.

The only qualification needed to getting your desires met is for you to be a righteous man. "The expectations (longing) of the righteous shall be granted", regardless of race,  colour or age. 

As a matter of fact,  the scripture says The righteous will flourish like palm trees; they will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

Planted in the LORD’s Temple, they will flourish in the courtyard of our God.

 *They will still bear fruit even in old age; they will be luxuriant. Psalms 92:12-14* So age is not a barrier for  fruit bearing. You will blossom even in your old age, in as much as you are in the court of the Lord. 

ONE OF THE REASONS PEOPLE THROW IN THE TOWEL IS BECAUSE THEY HAVE STOPPED LONGING,  THEY HAVE LOST HOPE ON LIFE.THEY HAVE STOPPED LIVING,  THEY ARE ONLY EXISTING. 

KEEP LONGING, DON'T EVER LOSE SIGHT OF YOUR HOPE IN CHRIST. 

REMEMBER,  CHRIST IN YOU, IS THE HOPE OF GLORY.Col. 1:27.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life.
