HELP

Text; Psalms  60:11

Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man .

Every help you will ever receive from a man has an end. True help only comes from God.

In fact, no man can help you if God has not helped you.

A woman in Samaria once approached  the King of Israel for help, the King responded, "If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barn floor, or out of the winepress? 2King 6:27

The truth is that if God has not helped you, you cannot be helped by any man. All of your help comes from the Lord (Psalm 121:1-2)

Any help you receive from man outside God is vain. The help of man is always vain because man himself is helpless. So when you receive or give help without God's input, such will be a vain help.

Though God can use anything or anyone as a medium of delivering help to you, but you must not allow  your gaze to be on the medium.

Even if you give or seemingly receive help outside God, such help will not truly be helpful in the long run.

You must realise that God is your Help. He is the only one who gives sustainable, continuous and lasting HELP.

ALWAYS SEEK FOR HIS HELP AND NOT MAN'S HELP. HE WILL SURELY HELP YOU AS YOU WAIT ON HIM TODAY.

HE IS OUR PRESENT HELP IN TIMES OF TROUBLE. RUN TO HIM, HE IS ALWAYS PRESENT.*

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
