IT IS GOD

TEXT: Isaiah 10:15

Shall the ax boast itself against him who chops with it? Or shall the saw exalt itself against him who saws with it? As if a rod could wield itself against those who lift it up, Or as if a staff could lift up, [as if it were] not wood!

No matter the power you wield, the wisdom and intelligence you display, the riches you possess; God is still  your source.

While unbelievers may not know this, you as a believer must know that all that you have is from the LORD. There is nothing you have that you have not received from the LORD.

Even those who seem to have gotten Power, riches and wisdom from the devil, the truth is: God is still the one who has given them the gift of life to enjoy whatever they think they have received from the devil. God is all in all. Hence, only Him must be acknowledged, revered, adored and worshipped.

This knowledge must be well entrenched in your heart: God owns all that you've got and that all the blessings you've gotten come from Him.

Praise ye the LORD from whom all blessing flows!

The scriptures therefore compare you to an axe, saw, rod and staff in the hand of God. He is the one using you. He is the one that has given you the power to do what you are doing. He's your wisdom, and He is the one who has given you power to make wealth.

*"...you shall remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swears unto your fathers, as it is this day.(Deuteronomy 8:18).*

You must never consider your strength, wisdom, riches and status as what you've gotten and earned by your own power but by what the Lord has achieved in you and through you.

You must always give God all the glory for all of your achievements for by His wisdom and Power you achieve them all.

By doing this, God keeps releasing more and more of His blessings into your life.

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

Lord, help me to always know that all the riches, wisdom, status and Power that I have are all from you. Help me to give you and you alone all the glory.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
