SUFFICIENT GRACE

Text: 2 Corinthians  12:9

And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Apostle Paul said he prayed to God three times to take away a particular infirmity from him, (2 Corinthians 12:8) but each time, God's response to him was "my grace is sufficient for you, because my strength is made perfect in weakness."

Don't be deceived into thinking Christianity is a bread and butter Faith. As a matter of fact,  *Christianity is not a religion, it is a life engineered by Jesus Christ.*

At no point did the word of God tells us that once we are in Christ,  we are automatically immuned from troubles in this world. Rather, Jesus told us emphatically in John  16:33  that *These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.*

However, we are promised that for every trouble or tribulation that come our way, commensurate Grace has been given to overcome and stay afloat.

*Sufficient grace has been poured on you to overcome whatever challenge that might come your way.* Don't form a pity party with your situation, rather tap into the grace which has been freely given to you by God to rise above the situation.

May you receive sufficient Grace to forge ahead victoriously in this faith journey.

Bible Reading:

2 Corinthians 12:1-10.

 PRAYER FOCUS

1.) Father God, I receive your Grace to overcome every challenge that come my way in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
