Text: Matthew 24:45

Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.

As God's steward, it is very important for you to know and understand what "Due Season" is. It is the appropriate time for distribution of meat.

The Master (the Lord Jesus Christ) expects that whatever good works you do must be done in due season. The timing of the service that you render to God and man is very crucial.

For instance, King Saul brought the Israelites under an oath and asked them to fast at the wrong time. Meanwhile, the soldiers actually needed to have eaten in order for them to attain a greater victory. (1 King 28:30).

*Ability to discern "Due Season" is the direct effect of being a faithful and wise servant.*

Simeon knew the due season to enter into the temple for the circumcision and  christening of Jesus Christ, John the Baptist knew the right time to come to the river Jordan, and Jesus Christ also knew the ripe season to show up at the river Jordan for baptism.

You need to constantly be in tune with the Spirit in order for you to know what the due time is.

One early morning, I was in prayer,  I suddenly heard the Lord asking me to forgive one of my debtors of her debts. At the dawn, I called the person to inform her that her debts has been forgiven. The woman suddenly bursts into tears as if she had been waiting for such pardon. The cancellation of this woman's debt here is the meat, calling her that very morning is the due season.

May the LORD give us understanding...

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
