Text:*  Luke 19:13

*And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said Punto them, Occupy till I Come.*

The new king James version renders our study text as "...Do business till I come" As a believer, everything the LORD has given unto you is for business purpose- I mean kingdom business.

As you know quite well, business is any activity that you engage in for the purpose of profit making.

In the same manner, God would have you engage in kingdom activities for the purpose of Kingdom profit.

The parable Jesus gave in our bible reading  illustrated how a master had distributed talents to his three servants according to their abilities. While two engaged in business, and gained double of what they were given, one did nothing with his one talent.

It's always easy for people who have little ability (gift, potential or anointing) to neglect such while admiring those with 'big' gift- this is the common mistake of many!
You better focus on the little gift God has bestowed on you, lest you come into shame on the day of reckoning.

*Remember, God shall be judging you based on the much He has given you, and not the much he gave to another or that which he didn't give you. So, sit down and work on what God has given to you.*

The servant with one talent  did nothing with what his master had given him. He had thought he had so little talent that he went and dig the ground to keep the talent he was given.

If you look at the Bible Reading very well, you will realise that the servant with two and five talent received the same reward. The master said the same thing to both of them:  *His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.(Matthew 25:21).*

This exact verse is repeated in verse 23 for the servant with two talents. That means, that would have been the same remark for the servant with one talent if he had put his talent to use.

Every believer has been given a gift that differs from one another. It is your duty and responsibility to identify yours, and start doing business with it. Occupy with your gift, till Christ returns. Stop being a spectator, an onlooker or mere admirer of others. Do something something with your own gifting too.

*You will not be rewarded for hero-worshipping or admiring other children of God, but you shall be rewarded for serving God's kingdom with your own gift.*

 *Bible Reading*

Matthew 25: 14-30.

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

Father, I receive the strength and grace to occupy as a faithful Steward till Jesus comes back in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...
