Text: Ephesians 4:32.

And be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another just as God has forgiven you in Christ.

In today's world, some salient truths needed to be taught and reemphasized. One of such is the act of kindness.

This is one of the virtues we are encouraged to put on in Colossians 3:12.

Kindness is more than being polite, it's love in action. *Kindness is a Spirit-produced quality of mercy and goodness expressed in action toward others even when they don't deserve it.*

Kindness is not passive,  it does something. Kindness includes forgiving others, helping the needy and speaking gently.

Jesus Christ demonstrated kindness by touching the lepers, feeding the hungry, forgiving sinners and healing the sick and  brokenhearted.

Kindness is what happens when the Holy Spirit softens your heart towards others.

Kindness is choosing gentle words when you could speak harshly.
It is forgiving when you have the right to be offended.
It is helping when no one is watching.
It is showing mercy when judgment seems easier.

God showed us kindness first.
He did not wait for us to deserve it.
He extended grace, mercy, and salvation through Christ. Kindness is rooted in God's character.

*Today ask yourself, Where can I reflect God’s character? Who really needs my kindness today? Are my words building or breaking?*  Kindness is love made visible. When you truly love, you will be kind.

 *Bible Reading*

Colossians 3:1-15.

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

Father Lord, fill my heart with Your Spirit. Help me to show true kindness in my words, in my actions, and in my thoughts. Let my life reflect Your love today.   in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
