TEXT : Romans 4:19   *And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah's womb:*   *God's promise is Yes and Amen always. He has never failed because He can never fail.*  But for every of His promise to you, you need faith to receive it. Little wonder Hebrews 11:6 says *without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently search for him.*  Faith is one commodity you can't afford to joke with as a child of God.  By nature, man only believes in what he can see and touch. But as a child of God,  you are not supposed to dwell within the natural realm but in the spiritual.  In God's kingdom, we live by Faith and not by sight. 2 Cor. 5:7.  A number of times, we are been limited and cheated because of the "seen realities".   *When you dwell on your senses, ...

Text: 1 John 2:16   *For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.*  The last content of "All that is in the world" we shall be looking at today is Pride of life.   *The motive behind many people's strive for achievements and status is pride of life.*  In Genesis 3:6, Eve saw the tree (of the knowledge of good and evil) as a _tree desirable to make one wise_ , she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. Eve and Adam took from the tree because of their desire to be wise. The serpent had deceived them. The very people that were created in the likeness and image of God had been deceived. Satan lied to them that their eyes needed to be opened to be like God. That was a great deception you know.
