TEXT: 1Timothy 6:7.

For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

When you take your time to read the Bible, you will receive instructions on how to lead a Godly life in this corrupt and crooked world.

Some of these instructions are the thing our Bible reading today enumerates -
1 Timothy 6:7 - *Nothing to this world we bring;   from it take we nothing.* This is the plain truth, yet we sometimes live as though it is not true. Life has a way of making us chase things that appears important but are ultimately fleeting and temporary.

*we came into this world empty-handed, and we will leave the same way. What matters is not what you gathered, but what you become in the process.*

1Timothy 6:8 - *And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.* The key word here is contentment. In a world that constantly pushes for more, God invites us to appreciate what we have.

1Timothy 6:9 - *But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.* This verse exposes the danger of unchecked desires. The pursuit of riches can become a snare, leading people into harmful decisions and spiritual ruin. When wealth accumulation becomes the goal, it quietly replaces God on the throne of our hearts.

1Timothy 6:10 - *For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.* When money becomes an idol, it opens the door to compromise, greed, and even a drifting away from faith. Many have chased wealth only to lose peace, purpose, and their walk with God. Beloved, beware!

Judas had proximity to Jesus but he loved money more than Jesus. His love for money led him to betray Christ for thirty pieces of silver. In the end, he lose all that he thought he had gained, he also lose his soul as well. Be watchful, don't let this fleeting, temporary life, hamper your eternal journey. Shed off anything that may corrupt you.

 *BIBLE READING:*

1 Timothy 6:6-10.

 *PRAYER FOCUS:*

Father, please help me to remember that everything I have comes from You. Help me to be content, and to resist the traps of worldly desire in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
