YOU WERE HEALED-2

Text : 1 Peter 2:24 

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes you were healed.

Just as Jesus bore our sins in his own body on the tree, so also he took our infirmities and bare our Sicknesses. (Matthew 8:17).

The scripture says you were healed because your healing already took place thousands of years ago. All you have to do now is to take delivery of your healing.

Once upon a time, a man sick of palsy was brought to Jesus to be healed.  Jesus said to him, Son, be of good cheer, you have been forgiven of your sins. When the Scribes heard this, they said within themselves, this man blasphemes. (Matthew 9:1-3).

It's obvious from the above that the Scribes ascribed the power to forgive sins only to God. Our Lord Jesus Christ then replied the people: "...That you may know that the Son of Man has power to forgive sins on earth," he said to the sick of the palsy, "arise, take up your bed, and go to your house" (Matthew 9:6).

 *As far as God is concerned, it does not take  extra effort to heal your diseases and Sicknesses than it took Him to forgive your sins.* 

So, when you receive healing, it is a show of Jesus's ability to forgive sins. The error lies with people finding it easier to believe God for forgiveness than for healing. 

 *You need to open your heart to start believing God for healing as much as you believe  Him for forgiveness of sins.* 

Jesus Christ has the capacity to heal you freely just as He is willing to always forgive you freely. 

All you need do is to simply put your faith in the LORD Jesus Christ. 

Receiving healing for your sicknesses and diseases is just as simple as receiving forgiveness of your sins.

Today, I want you to *CONFESS* and *DECLARE* with me once again.

Father Lord, I come to you today with this...... (mention the name of the disease or sickness). I believe and know that the blood of your Son Jesus heals and make whole.

I believe that Jesus is able to heal me just as He did forgive my sins.

I now put my trust in the healing power of Jesus through his blood that was shed for me on the cross.

Jesus my healer, I believe your word, that says to me: " By his stripes I am healed"

I am healed from..... (mention the sickness/disease) now in Jesus name. 

Thank you Lord Jesus for healing me.

Thank you Lord Jesus for making whole.

I thank you Father God in the name of Jesus for healing me Now.

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. WHEN GOD IS SILENT(2)

Text: Matthew 4:1  *Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.*  We saw yesterday that God was not pleased with many israelites that left Egypt for the promised land  (Corinthians 10:5).  A good percentage of the Israelites were overthrown in the wilderness.   Wilderness experience is not what any child of God desires, but it is an experience God sends or allows his children go through. In Deuteronomy 8:2, God says that He *LED* the Isrealites through the wilderness for forty years to humble them, to prove them, and to know what was in their heart whether they would keep his commandments or not.  Our Lord Jesus Christ was also *LED* into the wilderness by the Spirit of the Lord to be tempted by the devil.
