TEXT: Job 42:7.
After these words had been spoken by the LORD to Job, the LORD spoke to Eliphaz from Teman: “My anger is burning against you along with your two friends, since you haven’t spoken correctly about me, as did my servant Job.
Have you taken time to carefully read the book of Job? When you do, you will notice how eloquently and intelligently Job’s friends spoke during his season of trials.
Their speeches sounded wise and logical. In fact, many of their statements are often quoted today because they appear profound and philosophical.
Yet, at the end of the entire ordeal, when God Himself stepped in to judge the matter, He plainly declared that these men had not spoken correctly about Him.
Their words, though polished and persuasive, did not truly represent the heart or the mind of God.
This passage is a strong reminder that *sounding spiritual is not the same as being spiritually accurate.* It is possible to speak confidently, quote scriptures, and still misrepresent God’s intentions.
Many times, people assume they are defending God or working for Him, yet they act or speak from personal opinions, emotions, or incomplete understanding.
We must therefore strive to seek God’s wisdom before drawing conclusions about situations, especially those involving other people’s struggles.
*True spirituality is not measured by eloquence but by alignment with God's truth and compassion.*
*Before you speak* *about God, speak for God, or speak on behalf of God, be sure that God has spoken to you on such matters.*
Pause and ask:
“Am I truly expressing His heart, or merely expressing my own thoughts?”
*BIBLE READING:*
Lamentation 3:31-37.
*PRAYER FOCUS:*
Father, Please open my spiritual eyes to understand your mind on every matter and to represent you with love
and humility in Jesus name.
