GRACE AND PEACE -3

Text: 2 Peter 1:2 

Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,

Every believer is saved by *grace* and brought into God's *peace*  the very moment he confesses Jesus as his Saviour and Lord. Today, we shall be looking at one way by which grace and peace can multiply in one's life. 

The two scriptures below affirm that we have a measure of grace and peace at the point we were born into God's family.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:(Ephesians 2:8).

Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:(Romans 5:1).
 God's grace and peace can and should increase (multiply) in your life. 

One of the ways to  experience multiplication of God's grace and peace is through knowledge. The knowledge of God and the Lord Jesus Christ is key and essential to growing in grace and peace.

The knowledge referred to in our study text is not the knowledge that comes from studying or learning.It is an experiential knowledge that comes from walking with God. It is the knowledge that comes as a result of one's deep, relational and experiential walk with God.

So, when you read the Epistles saying, "Grace and Peace" be unto you, it does mean a prayer for a deeper walk with the LORD.

A man who has deep relational walk with God and experiential knowledge of Him, is a man of grace and peace. To know God, you must be consistent in obedience. Each time you obey the LORD, you are being brought into a deep walk with Him. And the result of your obedience is grace and peace. While grace and peace come freely to you at salvation, they are also rewards for obedience.

When our Lord Jesus Christ conquered Satan in the wilderness, angels from God came and ministered to Him afterwards. Such ministration is that of grace and peace. 
Matthew 4:11 says,  "Then the devil left Him, and behold, angels came and ministered to Him."

May you receive Grace for more grace and peace through experiential knowledge of God in Jesus name.

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life.
