DON'T RUN IN VAIN!-2

TEXT: 1 Corinthians 9:26

*Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air.*

Apostle Paul was very  determined never to run or labour in vain concerning his ministry that he was so certain about the crown and the joy awaiting  him in heaven over the souls he has laboured on.

For instance in Philippians 2:16, Apostle Paul encouraged his followers to hold fast the word of life, that he may rejoice in the day of Christ so that he wouldn't have ran in vain or labored in vain.

He also wrote about not receiving God's grace in vain in 2 Corinthians 6:1: "We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that you receive not the grace of God in vain."

As you approach  year 2026, the Lord would have you know that every of your engagement must be very strategic, even the grace (favour) that God bestowed upon you must not be in vain.

In 2026, there must not be labour lost, no wastage of the grace and mercy of God upon your life. Enough of just talking about the grace and mercy that God has bestowed upon you. It is time to give back to the Lord.

Apostle Paul received great grace and mercy from the Lord, in turn, he gave so much to the Lord as well.

For instance, for the grace he received, he laboured more, and for the mercy he received, he fainted not. He never received anything in vain.

He said, in 2 Corinthians 4:1 "... seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;(2 Corinthians 4:1). Also in 1 Corinthians 15:10, he wrote thus:
"...By the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."

*Though you can't pay God for his grace and mercy upon your life, but you must decide never to receive  His grace and mercy in Vain.* There must be a manifest evidence of God's grace and mercy in your life, lest you have received them in vain.

*In 2026, there shall be no labour lost in your life in Jesus name.*

Every grace and mercy you have received, and  that which you shall receive shall bear fruit in righteousness  in Jesus name.

 *BIBLE READING:*

1 Corinthians 9:24-27.

 *PRAYER FOCUS:*

Father LORD, I receive grace to wisely invest all of your grace and mercy upon my life in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
