PROTECTION AND PEACE

Text : Isaiah 54:17.

"No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.

Life often feels like a battlefield. There are days when the enemy’s attacks come not just through circumstances, but through words, doubts, and fears that try to pierce our hearts. Yet in this verse, God gives us a firm, unshakable promise: *no weapon formed against you will succeed.*

Notice that God did not say that the enemy will not  form a weapon, but that the weapon will not prosper. People may speak against you. situations may rise up to test your faith, and you might even feel overwhelmed.
But the Lord assures you that every attack will ultimately fail to accomplish its purpose. *Why?* Because your protection and vindication come from the Lord.

God’s promises here are not based on merit, they are by inheritance. He says this is “the heritage of the servants of the Lord.” That means this protection isn’t earned, it’s your inheritance as His child. If  you are God's chosen servant, then, these promises are for you.

The Lord Himself stands as your defender and advocate. Every false word spoken against you, He will silence. Every attempt of the enemy to derail you, He will turn for your good. And every tongue that rises against you, you will condemn. He has given you the power to condemn such tongues.

When fear tries to whisper, “You’re not going to make it,” remember: You are covered by a covenant of peace. The same God who promises that no weapon will prosper over you is the One who keeps watch over you day and night, (Psalms 121:4).

*God is your shield, God is your hiding place and your fortress. God is your protection and peace.*

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
