GRACE AND PEACE

Text: Philippians 1:2

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

"... *Grace* to you and *peace* from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 1:7).

*Grace* be unto you, and *peace* , from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Corinthians 1:3).

*Grace* be to you and *peace* from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.(2 Corinthians 1:2).

Over 18 verses of Pauline's epistles prayerfully greeted the saints and believers with grace and peace. Apostle Paul was quite deliberate about this.

This prayer of God's grace and peace upon your life actually means God's  presence over your life. There is no place on earth where you can find grace and peace except in God.

Jesus Christ once said that " *Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you...." (John 14:27).*

While the world can  offer you favour and Peace, God's unmerited Favour (grace) and Peace are nothing to be compared to that of the world.

The only reason the believers in the first century were able to gladly pass through persecutions without caving in was because of the grace and peace of God upon their lives.

The moment you know that you are under God's unmerited Favour, then whatever situation you find yourself, you will simply be at peace.

What really made it possible for Paul and Silas to be singing while in prison was because of their knowledge of the grace and peace of God   in their lives. (Acts 16:25).

Apostle Paul was never afraid of being killed in Jerusalem because God's grace and peace was upon him in abundant measure.

Though the Holy Ghost Himself spoke through prophet Agabus about the ordeal that is awaiting Paul in Jerusalem, the believers pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem, but his response showed that he was a man full of grace and peace.

Then Paul answered, "What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus." (Acts 21:13).

This is simply grace and peace at work.

May you always be at peace always even while being confronted with a challenging situation.

May you always be assured that you are under God's Favour.

May you always be conscious of God's presence that is with you in Jesus name

May you not frustrate  God's grace that is at work in you and over your life in Jesus name.

May the grace and peace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ be upon you. (Amen).

*BIBLE READING* :

 Acts 21: 5-14.

 *PRAYER FOCUS*

Father, cause your grace and peace to always multiply in my life in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
