Text: Ephesians 6:13.
For this reason, take up the whole armor of God so that you may be able to take a stand whenever evil comes. And when you have done everything you could, you will be able to stand firm.
Yes, life is not fair, but God is a just God, He is always faithful. The fall of man had made the world to be a battle ground for mankind.
Every man is in a battle. When you are not born again, you are fighting from the defeated camp, once you become born again you are fighting from the winning side.
Note that being a child of God doesn't exempt you from the fight, it only made you to be fighting a defeated foe. Romans 8:37 says, *in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.* We are only more than conqueror through Christ Jesus. So, if you are not in Christ, you are not a conqueror let alone being more than a conqueror.
And if you are in Christ, you are expected to do His dictates. One of His dictates is for you to take up the *whole armour* of God. This will position you to stand against the evil forces.
Ephesians 6:12 says, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."
Imagine the caliber of spirits we are up against. No human being has what it takes to win any of the forces of power mentioned above. But with a higher authority which is only found in Christ Jesus, you are more than a conqueror.
Now, being in Christ Jesus gives you the liberty to use the spiritual weapons opened to you to win in the battles of life.
Remember that, "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."
