OLD SCHOOL

Text:  Matthew 24:35.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

*Many things may and will become old fashion, but God's words can never be old fashioned.*

Many styles had gone into extinct and many more will still. This is why you are not to follow the trends of this world, because what is trending today will be old fashioned tomorrow.

What you are calling old school today was once 'new school' at a time. The truth is, this whole world will ultimately go into extinct, the only thing that will transcend this  world is God's word.

Psalms 119:89 says, For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven. The word of God is the only thing that will last forever.

Another thing that will last forever is the soul of man. Man is an eternal being. After the fall of man, death was introduced to mankind, however, death is not the end of man.

One of the lies of the devil is to make man believe that death is the end of everything. However, life continues after death. The only twist is, after death, man only has the option of spending his eternity in hell (eternal condemnation) or in heaven (eternal life).

Anyone who has trapped the eternal word of God in his soul here on earth will live eternally in heaven. Anyone who considers the word of God as old school or old fashion does so to the detriment of his soul.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

REBUKE THE WIND

TEXT :Mark 4:39  And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Immediately Jesus was  awoken from His sleep by His disciples, He rebuked the wind and proclaimed peace over the sea, the wind ceased and there was a great calm. Thereafter, He asked His disciples "Why are you so fearful? how is it that you have no faith?" Jesus Christ asked the disciples why they were so fearful and without faith simply because He expected them to have taken charge of the situation. In the same manner, the Lord would have you stand against every wiles of the enemy. You must always stand in faith and rebuke every wind in your life. You must know that Jesus is always in your boat, hence you don't have to be afraid to rebuke every boisterous in your life and declare God's shalom (Peace). Jesus is willing to actively participate with you in silencing every challenging situation in your life right now.  Simply rebuk...
