THE MERCIES OF GOD

Text: Lamentations 3:22-23

The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.

Life can be filled with ups and downs, joy and sorrow. But amidst the twists and turns, one thing remains constant; the boundless mercies of God. This means that we can always count on God to be merciful to us,no matter what we have done or what we are going through.

*The mercies of God are more than enough to cover our sins and help us through any difficult situation* .

God doesn't just offer a little bit of mercy now and then; His mercy is a never-ending fountain, flowing freely and abundantly towards us.  It's not something we earn or deserve; it's a gift, grace, demonstration of his unending love.

Every morning, His mercies are new. They're not yesterday's leftovers; they are fresh, overflowing, and ready to meet us wherever we are. Think about that for a moment. Even after a night filled with worries or mistakes, God's mercy is there, waiting to wash over us and give us a fresh start.

The mercies of God are a great blessing to us. They are source of comfort, strength and hope.

*Be bold and confident enough to seek for the mercies of God when the boisterous wind in this world blows against you.*

Despite our shortcomings and failures, He continues to pour out His mercy upon us, giving us hope and a reason to keep going.
We may not always understand why things happen, but be rest assured that God's mercy is always with us, guiding us, protecting us, and giving us hope for a brighter future.

*Let us not take the mercies of God for granted in our lives. Let us be grateful for his unfailing love and compassion towards us, knowing that his mercies are new every morning.*

*Bible Reading:*

Lamentations 3:22-23, Psalms 103:8.

PRAYER FOCUS

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...

IN MY NAME.

Text : Mark 16:17-18  And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Having believed in the gospel (Good news of the resurrection of Jesus and His victory over Sin, Satan and Death), you now need to start using the name of Jesus authoritatively. JESUS said that in His name you shall cast out devils; you shall speak with new tongues; you shall take up serpents; and if you drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt you; you shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. This means that you will undertake all these in the authority of Jesus' name. No matter how small or powerless you may think you are in your own eyes. Once you believe in His name, you shall do all that He promised.   Unbelief was the sin that Israelites committed that wasted a whol...
