THE GARMENT

Text :  2 Peter 1:10.

Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble;

For you to make your call and election sure, you must put on the wedding garment. This garment according to Colossians 3:10 is the new man.
*"And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him"*

Having been called into God's Kingdom, you must seek conformity after the image of Him that created and called you. (Romans. 8:29). Any believer that does not actively seek to be conformed to the image of Christ, may be in danger of not having his or her wedding garment on.

To have the wedding garment on, you must do the following:

1.Put on the new man (Colossians 3:10). The new man can only be renewed in knowledge. The more of His knowledge you seek, the more He will reveal you to you and show you what He want you to be.

2.Put on bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;  Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, ...(Colossians 3:12&13). It is your responsibility to see to it that you walk with the Holy Ghost in birthing these virtues in your life. It's not a gift,  you must work it out yourself.

3.Put on charity.
 *"And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness"* (Col. 3:14). Like the other virtues, you must be intentional in walking in charity (love) towards all.

You must allow the Holy Spirit prepare you with the wedding garment that contains all the above.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
