STAY CONNECTED.

Text: John 15:4

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.

Just as the branch of a tree cannot bear fruit without being connected to the tree, so also, you cannot bear fruit if you are not properly connected to Christ.

Jesus told  His disciples to abide in Him and He in them because that is the only thing that guarantees their fruitfulness. *"Without me, you can DO NOTHING", Jesus said.*

You can do absolutely NOTHING when you don't stay connected to Christ. All your activities and efforts will be NOTHING outside of Christ. Hence, your one and only priority should always be " TO STAY CONNECTED" to Christ. Then, fruitful activities and efforts will always flow from your vital connection with Him.

*Jesus is not primarily seeking for those who will work for Him, but for those who will ABIDE in Him.* He knows that if anyone abides, such will be far more productive and result oriented for the Kingdom.

Mark 3:14  says "...He appointed twelve, that they might be with Him and that He might send them out to preach...".  Jesus appointed the twelve to be with Him first before sending them out to preach. Abiding  with Jesus is the very firth thing He seeks from every believer. He only sends out an abider.

Only those that abide in Him can bring forth fruit wherein the Father God is glorified. This is because, anyone who abides in Christ Jesus will automatically bring forth all of Christ's content.

An abiding believer is always an extension of Christ, just as fruit is the extension and product of the tree. An 'abider' in Christ is a true ambassador of Christ, for he carries His image and nature.

Check your relationship with Christ and confirm if you are vitally and effectively connected to Him. Do not deceive yourself, you know if you are or not.
Just as Paul wrote to the church in Corinth, "Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.(2 Corinthians 13:5), you may also need to examine yourself today.

Staying connected to Christ is the only thing that guarantees your fruitfulness in every sphere of life.

STAY CONNECTED TO CHRIST!

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
