OPERATIONAL SPIRIT 2


 
Text: Ephesians 2:1-2

 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;* 
 *Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

It is an open truth that man is governed by spirits, because man is a spirit-being, it's either you are controlled by the Spirit of God or by evil spirits. 

Everyone who is not born again is known in the spirit realm as the children of disobedience. And the operational Spirit that works in the children of disobedience has two patterns of operation. 

1.) It makes them walk (behave) according to the course of this world. 
The spiritual obviously rules the physical. Nothing just happens, they are made to happen. 

This world has a course its running. The students are everybody who is not being ruled the the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:2 says, *For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.* 

So if you have not been set free from the law of sin and death through the law of the Spirit of life, then you are a qualified student in the school of the devil running the course of this world. 

The course of this world determines the trends and fashion of this world. It determines who is famous and who should be celebrated. It determines the winners and who get the awards.

The course of this world has masters in calling good bad and bad good. The course of this world says chastity and modesty is old fashion. The course of this world celebrates individualism and destroys the fabrics of true friendship. 

The course of this world leads people to commit suicide, genocide, wars and the likes. The course of this world develops, virus, they invent ideas that lead to infections, sicknesses, diseases, famines, earthquakes, and death. 

Yet, people don't stop to reconsider their ways because they are essentially ruled by a spirit whether they know it or not.

Now, the first step to helping people out of this pathetic situation is to be sure you are not under the operations of this spirits yourself.

You must ensure that your spirit man has been quickened from the death before you can safely secure the release of others.

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.Romans 8:14. Only sons of God are free from the operational spirits of this world, and only sons can help others to gain their freedom. Are you a son?

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. WHEN GOD IS SILENT(2)

Text: Matthew 4:1  *Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.*  We saw yesterday that God was not pleased with many israelites that left Egypt for the promised land  (Corinthians 10:5).  A good percentage of the Israelites were overthrown in the wilderness.   Wilderness experience is not what any child of God desires, but it is an experience God sends or allows his children go through. In Deuteronomy 8:2, God says that He *LED* the Isrealites through the wilderness for forty years to humble them, to prove them, and to know what was in their heart whether they would keep his commandments or not.  Our Lord Jesus Christ was also *LED* into the wilderness by the Spirit of the Lord to be tempted by the devil. You will  notice there is a similar feature of the number *40(forty)* between these two wilderness experiences. That is, that of the Israelites and our Lord Jesus Christ.
