REMAIN

Text : 1Thessalonians 4:17.

Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up in the clouds together with them to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

*Everything will not end here, the big picture is-there's life after death, and the big question is-are you prepared for that life?*

A number of people get preoccupied with their lives here on earth and pay no attention to the life after death.

The truth is, man is an eternal being, your life here on earth is just an infinitesimal fraction of your whole life. However, God expects you to use this little fraction of your life to choose where you will spend the rest of your life. After death, man will either end up in eternal condemnation or in eternal life.

The reality of this eternal dimension of man is seldomly preached in our churches today, yet the Bible is clear about this very important topic.

Everything in this world has expiration dates, and this earth too has expiration date.(2 Peter 3:11-13). However, no one knows exactly when the end will be, but Jesus gave us signs to look out for as the end is drawing near.

Almost all the signs as given in the scripture has been fulfilled with the exception of very few. One of these very few sign remaining is the Rapture.

Rapture is the sudden taking away of saints to meet with their Saviour in the clouds. (1 Corinthians 15:52) says, _In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed._

Once rapture takes place, then the end of this present age has come. Any believer who died in Christ will be raptured first and the saints who are alive will also be caught up with them.

There is a twist to this narrative,  just as it is clear that not all dead persons will be raptured but those who died in Christ, in the same way, not everyone who is alive at His appearing will be raptured with Christ, but those who are alive and who remained in Christ. (1 Corinthians 15:52-54, 1 Thess 4:16-18)

*A believer's life begins in Christ, sustained in Him and must remain in Him until the very end.*
