LIGHT AFFLICTION

Text:  2 Corinthians  4:17

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;*

The perspective from which you see things will go a long way in determining your approach to life's difficulties and challenges.
Everything is all about perspectives. A man standing at one end will call  a figure "9" while another man at the other end will call same figure "6".
Really, they are both correct. It all depends on where they are standing.

Apostle Paul summed up all  his sufferings and challenges as *light affliction.* He looked beyond time  in the now, and pierced into eternity; he then concluded that his present afflictions are raw materials for eternal weight of Glory.

How are you painting your own challenges and problems today?
If you are indeed God's child, you must come to the reality that  "all things are working together for your good"  (Romans 8:28).

*God is intentional and deliberate with His beloved, and nothing happens to them without His knowledge* . If you  are His, be rest assured that God's plan for you exceeds your present challenge. *Don't  ever be lured into wrong thought that God has forgotten you simply because of your present situation.*

As for Apostle Paul, he was able to perceive and discern his affliction aright. He called it light affliction. He did not even pray for deliverance from his affliction, rather he compared it with eternal weight of Glory.  Paul had died some centuries ago, but the monument he's built lives on. Even before the final day of Judgement, it is clear to all that Apostle Paul truly got eternal weight of glory.

 *No problem or devil is too big to swallow a true child of God.* No matter what befalls you, you will surely come out victorious.  Please note that no devil or hell can swallow you.

Paul knew this too well and it placed him on a vantage point.
He knew that life is more than this present everyday living. If you know this as well, then your deliverance has come.

See Paul's testimonials and perspectives about everything in this life and even in death;

 ```Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come.Romans 8:37-39.```
One major decision you need to take on this side of eternity is to abide in the Love of Christ. Once this is settled, nothing can seperate you from His Love.
