A LITTLE CHILD-2

Text: Matthew 18:3.

Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

Little children are humble and lowly. They never see themselves to be anything. They boast about nothing. They easily forgive. They easily let go. They are never anxious about anything. They have no fears. They keep no record of wrong. They never demand respect forcefully from any.

*To be as humble as a little child is the key to becoming the greatest in the kingdom. And to achieve this, you must be converted.* You cannot attain conversion by mere confession, it takes daily dying to self for you to experience  conversion. Apostle Paul said, "...I die daily"  *Continuous death to self is the only way to accessing God's life.*

God does not want you to continue the growth in your flesh (sinful nature), hence the need for  conversion.

Humility is the only thing that draws a man closer to God. When you are not humble, then you are proud. And if your proud, God will resist you. *"...God resists the proud, but gives grace unto the humble"*

God resists the proud because that's one of the main characters of the devil- _he is king over all the children of pride._ (Job 41:34).

*Flee Pride, lest you become the first begotten of the devil.*

 *Bible  Reading: Matthew 18:1-11.

 *PRAYER FOCUS

1.) Father God, I receive the grace to be converted and be a child at heart that yields to every nudging of the Holy Spirit.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

IT IS WRITTEN AGAIN

Text: Matthew 4:6. He told Jesus, “Since you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, because it is written,   ‘God will put his angels in charge of you,’ and,   ‘With their hands they will hold you up, so that you will never hit your foot against a rock.’ Jesus knocked devil off with "it is written" when he came to him with the first temptation. So, the devil too decided to use "it is written" for Jesus for the second temptation.  Don't be deceived, the devil knows the scriptures too. Second Corinthians 11:14 says,  "Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light." So, it's no surprise when you see Satan's messengers masquerading themselves as Apostle of Christ. 2 Corinthians 11:14.  The word of God is perfect. Yet, many people can twist it to their advantage and ultimately to their disadvantage. A drunk, smoker, fornicator, liar and all sort can justify their sinful lifestyles with a Bible verse. See to it that you do not twist the word of Go...
