SHINE YOUR LIGHT

Text : Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

The world is full of enough problem and darkness that you must not add yours to it, rather, you must seek to be the solution and light.

This has always been Jesus' intention during His earthly ministry. While He was on earth physically, He said, "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world" (John  9:5). This statement described Jesus' desire and purpose for His followers as well.

Jesus wanted His followers to be deliberate in shinning their light in this crooked and perversed world. This is because the world is in darkness.

If you wouldn't shine your light, the darkness will continually grow thicker and thicker.

The statement "let your light so shine before men..." simply means that the choice of shinning God's light within you is up to you. You may or may not shine the light God has put within you. The choice is always yours.

You must make up your mind to allow God's light within shine before men.

Only those who have been illuminated by God's light can shine their light. That's why the scripture has commanded you to
*"Arise, shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you"* (Isaiah 60:1). God wouldn't ask you to arise and shine if His light hasn't risen upon you.

Go and Shine His light within you for your world to see that they might glorify your Father in heaven.

Bible  Reading: Isaiah 60:1-5

PRAYER FOCUS

1.) Father God, I receive the Grace to arise and shine in Jesus name.

THE GOOD FIGHT-2

Text:  1 Timothy  6:12   Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses. Another thing to pursue in fighting the good fight of faith is Godliness. We understand through the Holy scriptures that godliness is profitable unto all things.   *For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.* 1 Timothy  4:8.  You will reap the reward of your godliness not only when you get to heaven, but from here on earth. And this is why we are admonished to exercise ourselves unto godliness. (1 Timothy  4:7), because godliness with contentment is great gain.1 Timothy  6:6. Godliness is the practice of conforming to the image of God by reflecting the nature of the kingdom of God in the course of everyday life. In other words, godliness is living and portray...

WAY MAKER-2

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. God promised that He will do a new thing for you, and that He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. He has done this before, and He will do it again even in your own life.  When the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them, encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.(Exodus 14:9). Just like anyone would react, the Isrealites became so fearful because there is neither way forward nor back for them to escape. Before them was the red sea, behind them were the Egyptian armies. They became perplexed and began to murmur against Moses. It is possible you are also in a situation like the Israelites- No way forward, and no way behind. Things may appear like you are ...

TIME IN ETERNITY

Text : Psalms 90:12  So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom._  Our God dwells in eternity past, present and future. In between these phases of eternity, He created man to dwell in Time. When man sinned, he fell short of God's plan, and death came in.(Rom 3:23). Death therefore short circuit man's life in eternity. This is the reason Jesus.came.  He had to come into TIME in order to remove the PAUSE  death HAD on man.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16.  Every man born into this world automatically becomes an eternal being. The question therefore is, which side of eternity would such a man dwell? Everlasting life or Everlasting condemnation? Time is an opportunity given to man to trade for eternal life. You have limited time to exchange for eternal life in eternity.  Time offers you the opportunity to ga...
