THIS KIND....

Text: Matthew 17:21

However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting."

You might have been experiencing some hardcore situations in your life for a long time, it is now time you take a drastic action against such, even as you prepare to enter into the year 2023. 

You must know that Jesus is always near to deliver you from every hardcore and long standing problems. You shall not enter 2023 with any assault from the pit of hell in Jesus name.

Jesus' disciples were confronted with such hardcore problem at a point when He was absent. Jesus and three of his disciples had gone up to Mount of transfiguration. While on the mount, a man had brought his son to the remaining nine(9) disciples so they can help cast out the demon troubling his son.

They made a great attempt, but could not get this poor boy delivered from the devil. While It is obvious they were dissapointed in themselves, the boy's  father must have been left more helpless and stranded than when he came. 

While the disciples, the boy's father, and the multitude were standing perplexed, the Lord Jesus showed up and rescued the situation. *May the Lord show up for you in this eleventh hour of the year in the name of Jesus!* Amen.

Afterwards, his disciples came for a private lesson on why they couldn’t cast out the demon. The Lord gave them one major and specific  reason.

Let's consider this reason why they couldn’t cast out the demon today: 

 ```1. Unbelief:``` 

Unbelief is a condition of the heart that is lacking in Faith. Though it is a perpetual state of the heart of unbelievers, yet many believers can  also stay in the realm of unbelief. 

 *It is not enough to confess faith with your mouth, you must genuinely believe from your heart before the result can be delivered.* 

Jesus said to his disciples that the main reason they could not cast out the demon is because of their unbelief. He said to them, 

 *"...for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you"* Mathew 17:20.

I will like to ask you to meditate on this profound statement made by our Lord all through today. This will prepare you for a total transformation in the year 2023.

Text: Isaiah 43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing: now it shall spring forth: shall ye not know it?  I will even make a way in the wilderness,  and rivers in the desert. HIS VOICE- 2

Text : John 10:3. To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. We established yesterday that one thing you can't joke with as a true follower of Christ is *His Voice.* You must recognise and hearken to (obey) His voice. It is in doing this that your safety is assured.  Today, we want to see another responsibility of the Shepherd over His sheep.  To him the porter opens; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calls his own sheep by name, *and leads them out.* John 10:3.  He called you, that He might lead you.
